This was conveniently located near lots of dining and shopping. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. The cooling unit was a bit loud. There is also a very pretty park nearby. The hotel itself is on a quiet street and walking distance from where the airport shuttle drops off. I would stay here again if I ever come back. One drawback is that our flight arrived earlier than expected and were not allowed to check in before 2pm.

Stayed here for 3 days, loved everything about this boutique hotel. Very comfortable bed, spacious room, complete kitchenette and friendly staff. Rooms are more affordable compared to others in the same category. The best thing about this place is the location. Right beside Meyers Park and about a 3-minute walk to Queen Street.

Definitely 5 stars from me! We booked the cheapest room and got a free upgrade to the best suite in the hotel up in the penthouse over two floors. How nice is that? The food in the restaurant is not fabulosa. Quite classy but as usual not as classy as some hotels in the far east. Nevertheless a luxury hotel in Auckland which as a city I do not care for and they were very kind to us. One can smoke on one’s balcony and there is an outdoor terrace by the restaurant. We used the washing machine in the room — very handy.

Classy entrance with very nice front desk staff who were helpful with all of our questions. Decent location near the center of town as well, although we didn’t like the K’Rd area south of the hotel, so we stuck to other parts of town. The room was actually very nice, like a mini-suite apartment, with a small balcony, kitchen and even a combination washer/dryer(that was a bit confusing to operate and took VERY long to complete a cycle, but was still very useful and free.) The internet situation was a bit ridiculous — had to pay, and this was just for internet in the lobby, so we didn’t use the internet there. The parking was also $ 20 and the spaces were pretty tight. Still, other than these two issues, we loved the place, would recommend.

The pool area of this place was awesome. It was outside, right by the bar and overlooking Myers Park. The location of the hotel is also pretty great, you’re right in the CBD without feeling like you are because it’s on such a quiet street. One of the let downs though is that we had to pay for parking. This may be standard for most inner city hotels but I still think it’s a service that should be included. We were here when the Lantern Festival was on and it was pretty busy. But because the hotel was so close to Albert Park it mean’t we could walk down to see it instead of being stuck in traffic like all the other suckers. The rooms were really clean and the TV had Sky Sport and Sky Movies which was good when you want a bit of down time. Our room had its own balcony too which was nice. The only let down was that the room was really hot. To be fair we did have really warm weather that weekend and air conditioning in our room but I’m not sure if the AC was working. Other than that it’s a really nice place and I’d definitely go back again.
