These apartments are really well appointed; I could stay quite happily for a while in one of them. They are apartments rather than hotel rooms, so there’s no gym or room service, but in exchange you get a full kitchen and washing machine/dryer in your room. The furnishings are generally high quality. One downside is that because of the layout of the building, some of the apartments are slightly awkwardly shaped; I stayed in one that was long rather than square so everything was slightly lined up with each other. It’s not really a biggie. The other downside is that some of the rooms look out onto a carpark, which isn’t that scenic but not the end of the world — better than looking straight into another building. The best thing is that you’re just upstairs from Elliott Street Stables, so are spoilt for choice for dinner options.
