Batch Winery

Great service and excellent food.

Beautiful place; we were the only ones there today but that made it even more special! The staff treated us so welll, and Paul the coach driver was absolutely fantastic — he took us around on a complimentary tour around the island, on our way back to the ferry had such a great day, thanks for the hospitality!

I tried Batch winery with the Grab one deal. The deal was just okay as I thought wine would also be included with our lunch and ferry package. Food was decent but the views were sooo amazing! My friend and I arrived at around 11:30a on a Sunday with the entire place to ourselves. As lunch time went on, the winery became more crowded with families and friends. It’s a great place to socialize and enjoy some wine.
Staff at the winery also recommended a short hike near the winery to the Pacific forrest area. It was nice! Courtesy shuttle to and from the ferry terminal is a plus too!

Sensational. We were there for lunch on a Saturday. Other than a large party, and an older couple, we were the only ones there. Surprising, given the calibre of the food and vistas.
I had the roast vegetable salad. We also ordered the chicken salad and the kids meal. Everything was beautiful on the plate and so flavourful. Easily the best food I’ve eaten in recent memory.
We’ve frequented Mudbrick, Cable Bay, Red Crab, Delight, Wai Kitchen, Solar and Cove on this visit to the island. Batch is my first check-​in and only «must do» — so far.
