I was very disappointed to find Gloria Jeans was closed! It’s usually where I go when I’m craving a hot drink and have some time to kill while at Uni. But it closes at 6 so here I was at 6 15 thinking where the hell am I going to go. It appeared there were no cafes around that were still open. I walked up the street a bit and to my right saw the words that made my day. Brownstone Coffee, all lit up and smiling at me! I boosted up the stairs and ordered myself a hot chocolate. It was pretty darn good. I got a small size but it wasn’t one of those piddly cups that you only get one gulp out of. The lady serving me was super friendly and gave me huge smiles and waves when I left happily with my drink. This place is open until late so that’s handy when you’re looking for a decent drink after the cafes close.
