Burger Master

We used to live just down the road from The Codfather so due to proximity ended up eating their takeaways every once in a while. In fact when we first moved to the area we were told by a number of neighbours we had to go there! Fish n chips aren’t really my thing but hey I really liked the name so I agreed to humour my partner and give them a go. As far as fish and chips go they are reasonably satisfying, the burgers are large, and a scoop of chips is actually a scoop of chips. They’ve done a great job painting the building blue with some choice fish and sea creatures floating around so A for effort on presentation. I suppose the mark of a good takeaway shop is gauged by the volume of its patrons and it always seemed busy so I’d say Codfather is doing alright.

The Name says it all, it’s the Cod father. You must come and pay your respects. But seriously this Birkenhead Fish and Chip, and Burger shop sells quite amazing melt in your mouth meals.
Just the perfect amount of batter added to your fresh out of the ocean fish fillets before being deep fried or grilled to your perfection.
I adore their delicious pub style chips. Nothing pleases me more on the weekend than to be sitting down at little shoal bay tucking into a pack of fish and chips with the family.
They are a bit pricier than the fish and chip shop closest to my house; however I would go the distance occasionally for the quality.
