Super nice kiosk with great values — everything (including their yummy cakes) is $ 2.50
The barista is very friendly and gives a personal touch (plus he has an epic beard), and he actually interacts with the customers — I went there with my 8 year old sister when I wanted to treat her with their super yum carrot cakes and he kindly joked around and recommended her something else, their banana cake and hot chocolate, which she really liked. It makes you feel like you’re buying coffee from a good friend rather than a straight faced, bored barista.
They have all the standard milk choices like soy, trim, etc.
If you wanted to sort of lounge about, there is no seating, but it’s just right in front of a public bench on K Road you can sit on (it’s located near the traffic light accros the shortcut to Myers Park) But other than that, if you’re just popping by to get your quick coffee fix, it would be fine.

Saw this place in the Herald in a bit about their $ 2.50 coffee and stuff. Since it was on the way to work, I popped in and grabbed a flattie and a scone. Flat White was really great and the scone was yum as — none of this baked rock business.
It’s a kiosk, so no seating but ideal for popping past. Friendly guys, barista has a legendary beard so, extra points for that.
Um, what else? Yes very good. 5 stars.

It is what it is guys… A kiosk. But a kiosk in a great spot, friendly staff, funky beats and great coffee ect to boot at a great price. My chai latte’s from here have been great, they always make sure to ask if you want sugar/​how many — beats the big chains hands down every time. I’m a K’Rd regular and very happy with this addition. The only improvement would be if they sold V!
