Great little café with really good food. Came in for breakfast and enjoyed every bite. The egg dishes were awesome, the haloumi sandwich was great, although they should go easier with the mayo and you should not miss the raspberry muffin. Service was great too. Overall great place.

excellent healthy brunch menu. tried the scrambled egg with roasted tomato relish and excellent homemade gluten free toast that was full of grains and seeds. the mushrooms with grilled hauloumi and garlic butter toast was also a great combination. The coffee has a slight earthy taste which we enjoyed. it is a small placebut verybright andclean and the staff were friendly, would highly recommend for a light breakfast.

Only tried the coffee here but it’s tops. Great place to bring a keepcup and if you don’t have a keepcup you can buy one here(buy one).

Creative menu and small range of cabinet food. Went for Wagyu mince on toast with avocado and cashews. The most beautifully presented mince on toast I’ve seen. Came garnished with micro greens and sliced pickles artfully arranged on top. Was very tasty too however the cashews didn’t seems to feature, if they were in there they were chopped up too much to notice. Also had a chicken and pancetta wrap from the cabinet. Was toasted which was ok apart from the excessive now wilted lettuce on one half of the wrap. Served with a tasty beetroot relish and aoili. Coffee was good, service was ok, food came out reasonably quick. Would go back.

Wandering K Rd at 7:06 am having found my regular spot not yet open but we were saved at Scullery! Walking in there were several business types already dining and it’s not hard to see why. With no Eggs Benedict in sight, Ryan turned his nose up at the brief but interesting breakfast menu — he does this at times — but a Breakfast Bap in the counter caught his attention which was then well present on a board with tasty pickled courgette and kasundi. I opted for the Scrambled Eggs with Avocado, also similarly well presented. I’ve been here a few times now and it’s always reliable and the coffee and food always good. Also on offer is an array of ‘toasties’, from scratch baking and a nice looking lunch menu. Friendly fun staff and free wifi as I type this…

Delicious scrambled eggs that even came in an eco friendly takeaway package(no plastic — yippee!) The coffee was good too and the customer service is excellent, even early in the morning when we’re all half asleep. Will be back for sure!

We went to Scullery after reading a few reviews here. Although the staff offered excellent service and the food came out quickly, we were disappointed. Below are the reasons: 1. Coffee was strong but burnt. 2. Lots of fruit flies around, to a degree that one was trying its hardest not to drown in our fresh juice that just came out from the kitchen. The staff did apologised and offered to make a fresh one. 3. White bait was nice but only 3 pieces compare to 4 in Alex’s review uploaded 25 days ago. 4. The $ 15 salmon bagel was a huge disappointment, I even said to my husband I can make the exact same thing at home for $ 5 or so. Don’t think we’d go back there in a hurry.

There’s a lot of reasons to love this little café — their menu is creative but not overly complicated, they serve up beer handles of thirst quenching Six Barrel soda, their bean of choice is Three Beans from down the road and last but most definitely not least they do their best to have zero waste! Scullery opened just over 5weeks ago, next to the Iron bank building on K.Road. The space is small. Inside it’s long and skinny with one row of tables and chairs. When we went, we sat inside and found it to be a little lacking in the atmosphere dept. but I think if you sat outside this wouldn’t be a problem. What really makes this place is the food. Sometimes I feel menus at cafes are a bit predictable but that is not the case here. When I went I ordered a chicken, couscous salad with cauliflower, chives, pine nuts, dates, feta and harissa. The flavour combo was spot on and there was just the right amount of each component. My lunch date opted for the whitebait, which came heaped on four slices of ciabatta(or maybe sourdough) with lemony mayo and pickles. I pinched a bite and it was simple but epically good. Both servings were generous(neither of us could finish) but I guess you don’t feel too bad because it all gets put to good use in their compost! Can’t wait to head back with mum, who’s a self-confessed whitebait addict — she will be in heaven!

The smoothies here are GREAT! The cabinet items look great. I found the server a little bit overfriendly and the menu items a little overpriced for the area. Mind you it is a fancy place given where it is.

Great looking little place on K Rd. We stopped in for a reasonably early morning coffee on a Saturday morning. Service is good — nice and friendly. My coffee wasn’t spectacular, but it wasn’t awful either. Little bit on the burnt side. The cabinet style food is the same as Ben’s, so I was pleased to see my reliable feta, spinach and olive scone. Adrian got the ham and mustard brioche. Always a little disappointing to find that they don’t make their own cabinet food, but no big deal. I would definitely go back, it’s a cool spot. The coffee thing might just be a teething issue seeing as the place is so new.

This cute little café just opened last week, taking the space of Esquires on K’Rd. It has a potential to become my go to place for my weekend coffee fix. They serve Three Beans coffee, so you can’t go wrong here. Stuff is trained and super friendly there. They have a nice breakfast/lunch menu plus some fresh cabinet treats. Seems like it’s exactly what K’Rd was missing! Plus my boyfriend admitted that’s it’s the only place on K’Rd that seems very ‘clean and tidy’(of cause not in offence to all the K’Rd loved and trusted, it’s just different)
