Chinese charcoal skewers with TsingTsao beer. Bliss. Usually come here for dinner or late night snacks and these guys get quite busy the later it is. They have a 4 or so meter long charcoal BBQ on display behind glass and under a big extraction hood, this is where all the magic happens. Skewers pile up on this BBQ as each table usually orders around 20+ skewers. That have a stage where musician come and play live music but probably only on their busier days. The skewers range from all sorts of meats; chicken, beef, squid, prawns, lamb being the most popular. Careful choosing some skewers as they have things like beef tongue, chicken soft bone, giblets, gizzards, hearts etc but as an Asian, that beef tongue is yum! They also have small side dishes and Asian sweet dishes. I definitely recommend that very top dish on their menu, it’s a giant plate of spicy chicken and potato stew(definitely add noodles!!! Or add more later if necessary) everyone orders it when they go there! So yum! And that deep fried Chinese bun with condensed milk! As for drinks they have milk teas, iced drinks, canned drinks as well as the Chinese beer TsingTao which is a nice light beer that taste really good with Chinese BBQ skewers and the bottle is huge too. Only downside is the food is quite oily so make sure your stomach is tough haha also don’t wear hard to wash clothes as it will smell of BBQ. Same goes for your hair! They don’t speak much English so just point at the menu and tell them how many you want.
