The food is nicely presented and looks good but the taste really isn’t up to par. The chef just isn’t skillful enough so the actually quality if produce isn’t the problem. If you aren’t a everyday Chinese food eater then by all means do come here because the chances are you will not know the difference but this bringing Chinese family(especially the older more experienced one) steer clear!

Well, now Golden Fortune knows how to decorate. There’s no mistaking inside and out that it’s a Chinese Restaurant, all the way down to the little cat(maneki-neko) that beckons/waves at you as you pay for your bill. There weren’t many westerners in there when I went in with my family, and I guess that’s why the waitress seemed astounded we were all proficient in the use of chopsticks. She taught us a few new tricks none-the-less! The food was yummy, though a tad on the expensive side. I guess they plan to make a fortune, hence the name. I was very keen on having some duck, as it smelt really quite amazing. These guys are also very good with lobster, and have a few live ones for you to pick from. I don’t eat lobster, because I’d rather not see it swimming before on my plate, but some people seem to enjoy that pass time…
