Long wait, small portions, average staff, expensive. Went a week ago for lunch and it was over priced, and we had to wait 30 – 45 minutes for food. Everything about the meal was small, not enough rice, curry or naan. Was still hungry afterwards.

India Gate is a family owned business who have passed their recipes through generations! Their food is authentic and the owners are very attentive. Food is their passion here.
I have eaten there a few times and now recommend them as caterers to large private functions at a venue I manage as their food never fails to disappoint. They can provide offsite catering for up to 1000 people and a very accommodating and flexible with their menus.
Their restaurant also has weekday specials for mains under $ 10. The restaurant itself is hidden upstairs but once you climb the staircase you enter a beautiful open space with brick walls and high ceilings and there as ample parking reserved for their visitors.
If I didn’t have to trek through the traffic to get there I would definitely be eating there more often

The best India restaurant in CBD area. Beautiful interior and pleasant atmosphere every where. Good staff with great food. Lunch and dinner specials will meet everyone budget.
