Great gym. Has an industrial look. Clean. Open 24 hours during the week.
Large weights room. Has pretty much everything. Also a powerlift station. Doesn’t get too packed with steroid up dudes.
Huge group exercise room. I think it holds 150 people. Lots of classes but all in the same room except for RPM. Nicely air conditioned. Doesn’t smell like sweat.
The usual Les Mills standard classes. Makes you realize how unfit you are.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Big selection of personal trainers.
The cardio area has good amount of machines. But can imagine a small wait during peak hours.
Free internet and parking. No coffee and child minding service.

It’s no secret that I love Les Mills gyms and thier newest location in Britomart is most definitely the cream of the crop. Kitted out with all the latest cardio and weights equipment, it’s the ideal playground for fitness freaks. Another plus is the layout, which is much more logical than the Victoria St, where you have to weave through sweaty, old men pumping iron to get to the group fitness and cardio rooms. Theres none of that at Britomart, where you can access the cardio room, the weights room and the changing room all directly from reception… makes sense really.
Adding to it’s appeal the Britomart gym also has Saunas in the men’s and women’s changing rooms, FREE Wifi and 90 minutes of FREE parking at the Britomart Carpark next door.
