Most Meadowbank residents would know this bakery quite fondly I would imagine, and most likely many people living outside of Meadowbank as well because it is surely one of the best bakeries around. It’s right on the main road so you can’t miss it.
Serving a large selection of fresh and delicious food, this place is definitely worth a detour for a good feed. These guys do pretty nice coffee too. I personally love the pies here; steak and cheese is so good, but they have many other options. Their cakes and sweets are always heavily stocked up and they are amazing.
The prices here are quite reasonable too. Knowing a good bakery is like knowing a good mechanic; it’s hard to go through life if you don’t.

My dad just lives up the road from this bakery and I always find myself popping into here, whether it’s for a coffee or a sweet treat to eat, there is always something here to satisfy your cravings. They have a delectable selection of sweets including slices and cakes, also savouries like pies, sausage rolls or filled rolls. They also make coffee which is an added bonus. The best part about all of this is its affordable eating. Delicious food for almost next to nothing.
Located opposite the BP gas station, you’ll find parking on either Meadowbank Road, or right outside the store on St Johns Road.
This is certainly your traditional bakery worth making a stop for.

Yummy! This is a local bakery that bakes some amazing lunch times and snacks. As I write this review I am munching on some sour dough baguette, which while it may seem a simple purchase, is very tasty. The only item from this bakery that I dislike, which is disappointing, are their scones, which are not quite cooked enough. Despite this, their pies are great on a Sunday morning, and there are plenty of things to grab for lunch on your way to work or school. This bakery came highly recommended to me, and I pass on that recommendation.

In the mornings, this bakery has an enormous cabinet overflowing with amazing meaty buns. If you time your visit wrong, you’ll just miss out. The bread they bake for their buns is just the perfect texture, and the fillings are delicious and generous, and slathered in some incredible mayo. My favourite is the roast vege & beef roll.
Other great things at this bakery — really good pies, a massive selection of baked goods (cupcakes, fancy decorated biscuits and slices), fresh bread, and also pretty cakes for your next work party.
