I went here twice for a haircut. The first one I thought was really good (I mean I don’t need anything fancy, just a basic boy’s haircut), and so when that grew out I went back to get the same again. The second haircut I wasn’t nearly as happy with, and I haven’t been back.
Haircuts are such a subjective thing. Was the second one worse than the first one? Or just different? Or even the same, and my tastes had just changed in the meantime? What makes me think that it’s not the last option is that the barber’s demeanour was totally different each time — one haircut was done nearly in complete silence, the other chatting at a mile a minute, and I can’t recall which was which. Either way I felt like it was an inconsistent service. Not terrible, not bad even, just not consistently good.
