After a pretty disastrous experience with the Mister Minit in Newmarket, I was a bit apprehensive about going to this one to get my watch battery replaced. However, I was most impressed with the service I received here. After I dropped the watch with them, I received a call later that day where the guy explained to me that they didn’t sell this particular battery in New Zealand and that he would have to send away for one, meaning that it may take up to a week to get it fixed and it would cost around $ 25 instead of the $ 15 initially quoted. I said that was fine and my watch was fixed five days later. When I went back to pick it up, their card machine wasn’t working. After I explained that I only had a credit card to pay at that point and couldn’t go get cash out to pay, the guy was very apologetic and told me they would hold my watch until I could go back with cash a few days later. When I then went back, he only charged me $ 20 for the inconvenience. Altogether, I was really pleased with the service I received, they were very attentive and the service(despite the inconvenience, which really wasn’t their fault) was great. I like that they kept me informed about what was going on. I will definitely be returning to this site next time I need a key cutting or similar service.
