Fantastic restaurant! Had my wedding dinner there 6years ago, and wanted to celebrate our anniversary there this year… Unfortunately it is now closed. Sad face

I have been to this restaurant a few times and we choose this place for our 15 year wedding anniversary and we weren’t disappointed just very full and satisfied, had to go for a bit of a walk afterwards.
We have always been here for dinner only and have tried the entrees, mains and deserts. The menu is a little short and would like to see some more dishes added, its also on the expensive side but its very good food and lovely for something a bit more special and romantic.
It does have a very French feel to it and the staff are all French — well they definitely sound it anyway.

Everyone should have a favourite French restaurant, and Pastis is mine. I love French fare, and I love it when it is done right. Don’t give me Cin Cin nonsense where the chef is a Kiwi, and the steak is prepared like one you’ll find at a bad barbeque. I want my steak prepared by a true Frenchman; because that’s the way I like it.
But there is more to Pastis than just good food; the atmosphere is lovely, and the staff is great. Just writing this review is making my mouth water for their flavour rich snails, and the yummy duck confit. Mmmm mmm mmmm, take your partner, and enjoy a night out you’ll never forget.
