I’ve only ever stopped for a wine or a coffee, and both are great, but the service always seems a bit confusing for me. I never know whether I need to sit down or ask for a table. When it comes time to pay I never know where to go… Still, great to have an decent place to have a wine pre-movie or to debrief afterwards. Yet to try the food but as a pit stop, it gets a tick from me!

This place annoys me. It’s got such a great position, right next to The Bridgeway theatre, yet it never delivers on the food front. Great parking, nice neighbourhood vibe. I’ve given up ordering anything other than coffee, even the muffins and scones are just ‘ok’. Today we had a master plan, a lunch booking across the road where there is serious food being served for maybe $ 10-$ 15 more, well worth it.

I’ve been a regular here for as long as I can remember. Helps when you used to live near by. Great spot for a catch up over a coffee and also super good for dinner or even just a sneaky wine outside under the heaters. The staff are very friendly and easy going. Pricing is good and the atmosphere is great! They even make these amazing wood fired pizza’s. Like nothing else you’ve ever had. The other good part about this place is that it’s right next door to the Bridge Way Cinema. Grab a nice hearty dinner and pop off to a French film next door and you’ve got a great night out! Add it to your bookmarks. It’s worth it!

We sometimes come here for dinner before catching a movie next door. They have a wine list. In terms of food, we normally stick with the pizzas as other vegetarian options are few and far between. Can’t go past the Caramelised Onion and Mozzarella Garlic Bread — amazing. All of the vegetarian pizzas are great and I bet the meatier ones are too. Definitely worth a shot — why not make it dinner and a movie?

Had coffee here last weekend. Nice coffee and relatively quick service. One thing to note, you need to pay and order at the counter, they don’t come to you. It’s a local and we’ll be back again :)

Northcote Point is such a pretty spot, and Sausalito is a perfect weekend meeting spot for a coffee or brunch and perhaps a walk to burn off a few of those calories? With the Bridgeway right next door, this is also an excellent spot for a casual lunch, dinner, wine or coffee pre or post movie. Sausalito does face some stiff competition from the excellent Engine Room across the road, however I think there is a marked difference in price and experience and Sausalito is a clear winner for those on a tighter budget or wanting a more relaxed experience.

I picked Sausalito as my twenty ninth birthday dinner venue as they serve up the most amazing wood fired pizza, and they can combine tables to seat my guest list booking of around twenty people. Fantastic and efficient service with a smile, the extensive menu caters for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner, and there’s something for everyone! I must rave however about the wood fired pizzas which I think they do perfectly and with a superb range of toppings such as Tex Mex and Thai Chicken or Originals such as Margherita and Hawaiian, if you can’t choose like me have half and half. Prices on pizzas range from 24 – 26 dollars. I definitely enjoyed a glass or two of there wonderful range of wine on selection, and how could I resist the exquisite tiramisu for dessert. I’m looking forward to my return visit! If thats not perfect enough they have a boutique cinema right next door, should you need a film fix afterwards.
