Talk about colorful saturation that just draws you in from the outside. Then you’re fully pulled in by the fragrant tea aroma coming from inside. This is one of those little shops that you end up spontaneously walking into on a whim. Products that I admired: ~ The different types of tea pots: Colorful ones made of porcelain. Regular stainless steel pots, and fancy shaped glass pots. Very cool in design. Not to mention how unique the different types of infusers they sell as well. ~ Teas: I sampled the fruity teas they had as samples, but just wasn’t into the cold tasting ones they had set up. Their herbals like hibiscus, lavender, and cocoa tend to satisfy my senses. And great smelling they were! Service: ~ Took awhile to get some attention. Eventually we had to ask about a pot, and then the staff warmed up to us. No biggie. Now I’m no tea expert, but I believe I’ve been to enough tea shops around the world to sense the commercialism and feel of this store. Not necessarily a bad thing, but with the abundance of various tea flavors and tea products, it may sometimes make you feel overwhelmed when deciding what to get.

Always fresh and inviting, I’m often found trying a few new blends and perusing cute cups after a long day at work. T2 is a gorgeous store that feels so refreshing in contrast to the harsh fluorescents of your average mall. Staff are always on their A-game, friendly but never overbearing. I once had a great gift consultation when looking for a treat to send my grandmother. What the sales assistant helped me pick out ended up being perfect, my grandma cried tears of happiness when it arrived at her doorstep. I have very positive feelings about the store, especially after this. One of the coolest things about T2 is their willingness to give samples and provide testers. They’re so relaxed about it, it puts you at ease no matter what kind of day you’ve had. Love it!

I’m a total T2 junkie. I frequent the 277 Broadway store in Newmarket. The staff are mega cool, they always have amazing suggestions and I live for the tastings in tiny cups. It’s my girls fave store and they beg to in. I gave up coffee 18mths ago and I can have an insatiable sweet tooth after dinner. T2 means I miss coffee not at all– I love Perth Breakfast — black tea with bergamot and vanilla just add milk, on waking. Ayurvedic Chai, Green Rose or White White Cocoa through out the day and Chilli Chocolate or Strawberries and Cream for after dinner … Oh and Nighty Night before bed. Full blown addict! If you haven’t tried seriously do yrself a fave and go in!

T2 do it well! On all levels T2 excels, from customer service to product knowledge and the general experience of being in the store, you feel like your an old friend catching up on all the goss. I’m a genuine fan of the tea and the company. It’s a great place for gifts for loved ones or yourself!

T2 has a ridiculous numbers of teas and a ridiculous amount of paraphernalia to boot. It really is a one stop shop for all you tea needs and with flavours like crème brulée and banana bake, it’s heaven for adventurous tea drinkers. Personally, I’m more of a traditionalist — plain Early Grey in the morning, green or peppermint in the afternoon — but t2 have also got me covered, with beautiful blends of my favourite tea tipples. T2 can be overwhelming when you first step inside. My advice? Ask the staff. They know the store well and are happy to help.

Recently opened up in Auckland, T2 sounds a large range of flavoured tea, free samples in store, although I wasn’t that fascinated by the flavours that I was offered. Cute set up in store with heaps of cupware and brewing instruments(not a big tea person so I’m not sure of the terminology haha).
