Misleading prices. Ordered Tom Yum soup then was asked what size. The menu stated one price $ 7.50 I think then when I asked for the regular size was told I must pay $ 14.50! This price was not stated anywhere neither was it mentioned that there were different sizes. Overly sweet as well

My partner and I have ordered from Thai Lemon twice now as we live just up the road and the prices seemed reasonable. However, I don’t understand other peoples ratings (on other websites) of this Thai takeaway joint. I have had more flavoursome Thai food at other restaurants and takeaways, but what really gets me about this place is the portion sizes! Very small containers compared to what the majority of other Asian take outs give for around the same price. Also, whenever I pass by their shop during lunch or dinner hours (which is often since I am local) it is always empty.
My quest for Thai food in the East Coast Bay’s of Auckland continues!
