It would be easy to miss this place in St. Heliers among the other bigger restaurants and coffee place. However if you are up for some really good coffee and in house made ice cream, do walk down this side street. The have some unique ice cream flavors such as licorice. There is no sitting but on a lovely day you can just walk down to the beach or benches along the water.

Village Co-Op is a family run store located just off Tamaki Drive in St Heliers. They serve coffee, breads, deli items and best of all, ice cream. They make their own ice cream on site with flavours such as Passionfruit Pavlova, Espresso and Caramel Fudge, Lemon Curd and Rewa Rewa Honey. I highly recommend the Passionfruit Pavlova — absolutely delicious and comes with actual meringue! I love that you also get to choose what you want on top of your ice cream — either a gingerbread man cookie or dark chocolate sticks — both are yummy! I suggest coming here on a nice hot summers day for an ice cream and then relax on St Heliers Beach — absolute bliss!
