Kahve has one amazing location in St Heliers Bay; they have a nice wide open deck which is perfect not only in the summer but also when its a bit cooler in the winter as well(they just put plastic transparent covers next to the balcony and turn the heaters on, so you can see the view and stay warm at the same time). The food here is what you would expect for a typical St Heliers beach side café; i.e. expensive. However I do have to say whats on offer is pretty tasty, and in particular the freshly squeezed juices are superb. Although don’t expect too much from the restrooms, they are clean but very public-toilets-esque. Oh and also, bring cash — I had a puzzling conversation with the lady at the counter who couldn’t really explain the cafes lack of eftpos/debit card transaction availability, apart from the fact its been like that for 16 years and the owner is ‘stubborn’(?).

This is one of my favourite spots in St Heliers apart from right in front of the beach.
Whether you are coming for just coffee and muffin or some Breakfast, lunch or Dinner then this place is one you will come back to. The location of course is great as you have great views, especially from all the outside tables and chairs and its great as in winter or if its raining then they put the clear blinds down so you can still have your cake and eat it too. The menu and food is really delicious and I have always received super friendly service from this great restaurant, thats why I keep coming back for more.

Kahve is a brunch favourite of mine, and lots of other people too. I think it’s the service that makes Kahve special, it’s attentive, very friendly, and the food comes promptly. While it’s fresh and modern, there’s a homely, relaxed atmosphere to Kahve, and once you see the view(best appreciated from the generous number of outdoor tables) you’ll find out how easy it is to while away a good few hours here. I’ve always enjoyed the food and the coffee is excellent. For brunch, I recommend the pancakes(perfect), the bagels, the omelette, or if you think you’re up for it, the Big Breakfast. As you can guess, it’s big, but it’s definitely worth the effort! To top it off, there’s also an decent wine and beer list to select from, so you might appreciate hitting the beach after you’ve indulged for a gentle stroll.
