This place does pretty nice chips. And it has some amazingly cheap deals. But having said that, I’d make no effort to go back again.
Good service doesn’t fix bad food, but it might make you look at average food more favourably. On the other hand, poor service won’t ruin a delicious meal, but it will make you reconsider going back to an average fish & chip shop. They were nice chips, but there are plenty of places I can get nice chips and not be ignored, snapped at, or have my questions answered by someone just pointing at the sign above his head. It’s just … I understand that you might be having a bad day, and that’s fine. Likewise if your English is poor and that limits your conversational ability, I get that. But I’m sorry — neither of those justify being a dick.
Oh, and my girlfriend said the milkshake she got was good-to-average, so that won’t save them.
