Interesting décor, friendly service and a nice enough selection of cabinet fare. My colleague said she enjoyed her coffee and scone but I was a little disappointed with the detox juice I ordered — it was a little too pulpy for my liking. Overall, this place may not be on my list of favourite cafes but it’s a good little spot for a quiet catch-up.

I think this little café has upped there game since the reviews below. Great service, with an interesting menu with lots of home made goodies in the cabinet, the apple rolled scones were huge and looked really tasty. I ordered french toast with berries which was really tasty, rich tart berries and a large serving of thick and crunchy french toast. I didn’t try the coffee, which is unlike me, but my +1 said it was lovely. All and all a cute little spot to get your sat morning café fix.

5 stars for having ‘All Press’ coffee. 2 stars for stuffing up the coffee order(despite that is all we ordered, and there was only two of us, and, er, you asked us after we ordered what it was again, as you got muddled up after the first time, hmmmm, if your new and unsure no problemo, but maybe write the orders down so it doesn’t get stuffed up, even the pro’s write stuff down, no drama with that). 4 stars for the décor, even though still being renovated. 2 stars again for that coffee stuff up — plus, sorry guys, but it didn’t taste very good, I couldn’t even finish mine:(

This place has not been going long and when I saw that someone had reopened here I was excited to check it out. The reno-job has been fairly well done although everything is white so you might need your sunnies. On the day we visited we unfortunately also needed earplugs — we got out of the car to the screaming sound of a security alarm and worse news, it was coming from here. It was Saturday lunchtime and there were only two customers trying their best to have a nice time. We stood outside waiting in the hope this was a temporary situation and we would soon be able to enter with our hearing intact. It started to rain a bit. We saw three different staff members inside doing various things; none of them acknowledged our group of 5 standing directly outside the front door, fully in view through the huge windows. A chef came out with a cellphone muttering something about the owners not answering their phone. Another person came with another number to try. A couple of other potential customers turned up, had a yelled conversation with us then decided to go elsewhere. Then so did we. We were there for a full five minutes and not once did anyone speak directly to us. Unbe-fucking-lievable. Shame on them. Stressed or not, someone should have an eye on the people who provide the money no?
