Video Ezy Mt Albert

A lady at the counter once smiled at me in Video Ezy Mt Albert. Nothing else good has ever happened to me there. The layout is designed by Voldemort, the movies are ordered like the staff hurriedly cleaned up after hosting an episode of American Gladiators. It seems more like the final expulsion of a dying industry than any other video store.

Gosh, this place drives me nuts. It’s just round the corner from us but I’ve got to the point where I go to another video store that’s further away because it’s so much less frustrating.
I find the layout of this shop utterly confusing (why oh why, would you put the ‘A’ section on the very right hand side of the shelf and work back to the left? It’s so confusing to work out where the DVD you’re looking for is. I think this actually only applies to the Recent Releases section, but surely that’s a fairly common section for people to look at!), and I’ve have had too many negative experiences with the staff. There’s a couple of really nice, helpful staff members, but too often I’ve been ignored and/​or generally treated rudely throughout interactions with other staff.
