Mojo

This area of Carlton Gore Rd has a lot of good cafes and so to do well here you need to have 4 things: good coffee, a tasty and varied menu, nice décor and great service.
Mojo is a great café and the only way it falls short is the service. It started off great and I was taken to a table and given menus, sparkling water and had a coffee order taken. And then that was it. No one came to take our order despite waiting a good 15−20min. In the end I had to go up and order at the counter. Pretty poor — but the rest of the service was OK.
Coffee was pretty good. Menu was a good mix of standard breakfast fare (eggs on toast, eggs benediction and a big breakfast) as well as some different items such as brocolini on toast. I had this and it was great — a good take on standard avocado on toast. Poached eggs were cooked to perfection as well and the 5 grain bread was delicious.

A genuine favourite of mine– every time we go the meal is spot on. Food is fast, service is great, not too pricey. The sandwiches and chips are amazing if you’re wanting something small

The breakfast was good but expensive. We had the eggs on toast with bacon $ 16.50. Avocado would have cost another $ 6.00, and another $ 6.00 for tomato — total $ 28.50. The service was pretty average and a bit snooty. Not the warm friendly feel you get in say amount Eden. We asked «excuse me, can I get another coffee?», and the waiter replied «please!». Nice coffee, nice food, but fairly average service unfortunately. Won’t be back.

Nothing like a hot cup of MOJO!!! Ever order a coffee and feel like it disappears in just one mouthful… That’s when you know a coffee is good! Mojo Coffee which originates from Wellington is a lovely smooth blend of coffee that always goes down a treat! This one is from Mojo Newmarket a popular café for your gym goers and cyclist

Great coffee — been here several times now and the atmosphere is pretty cool. Have not eaten a substantial dish, just muffins or quick-​to-​eat stuff. Service is good, and in summer, the courtyard is a most pleasant place to be. The Carlton Gore Rd precinct is now spoilt for choice with a number of good places for coffee, lunch and a catchup with friends, and Mojo is at the top end of that list.

Really enjoyable cute spot for a coffee, scone or sandwich. Very light and airy. Make sure you download their loyalty app as you save 10% on hot drinks!

Enjoyable site for a late brunch. A small issue with our order, but it was rectified with promptly.

Best breakfast in auckland so far. Beef cheek munce on toast. Mmmm. Small menu but everything on it looked amazing on the table.

Mojo is a great spot to keep in mind on a sunny afternoon when in Newmarket.
Situated on Carlton Gore Road, there is plenty of on-​street parking available and patrons can enjoy a good beverage and some quality food while being a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of Broadway.
Mojo offer delicious coffees and iced beverages as well as a great selection of ready to eat cabinet food and an ample menu to order from.
Last time I was there I sat out on the benches in the sun with a friend and enjoyed an iced chocolate. It was such a great set up, and the café even has brilliant Mojo sunhats available for customer’s use which is a definite bonus as there isn’t too much shade in their outdoor area.
The staff at Mojo are mostly quite young and funky, and one of the baristas — Connor — is particularly chatty and makes the best coffees. Make sure you ask for him next time you’re at Mojo!
Tip: The on-​street parking is mostly pay-​and-​display, so make sure you have some cash on hand!

Mojo Garage is one of the Carlton Gore Road greats and it was a garage, a WOF garage and still maintains that look and feel with the concrete floors and exposed rafter ceiling. Seats with large tables line one side of the garage with the kitchen situated in the middle and down alongside the other side is narrow high bar stool seating, perfect if you want some quiet space. On a nice day you have the option of sitting outside. Mojo garage therefore is great for loners and small to large groups, also people who want to bring their dogs, or kids.
Great food, nice staff, good coffee and a cool environment. Whether the garage door is up or down is weather dependent, if it is up and the large table facing outside isn’t taken sit there, I think it is the best seat in the house (I mean garage).

This is a great little café that took over an old mechanics. The coffee is really good and arrives in the cutest little cups. They give out FREE sparkling water which I think is just amazing as most other cafes charge for it. Even the sugars that come with the coffee are cute and quirky in a little triangular packet. Their food is delish, I ordered a hotdog off their menu and it was really tasty, their biscotti is also worth trying if you are after something light. It’s a great place to sit and relax for a while, with a courtyard area out the front, and plenty of smaller tables inside. They have also planted some crawling vines out the front which should look fantastic once they have grown more.

In need of a coffee break? I was today; so instead of using the work instant coffee machine I decided to stroll down the road and treat myself to something a little stronger. Mojo caught my eye. Mojo is a lovely little café that can be found on Carlton Gore Road. With yummy coffee and delicious food, this is certainly a café worth popping into.
They have an all day brunch and lunch time menu, with a great selection of cabinet food, sweet and savoury.
The café is gorgeous. It has a garage feel about it but funky at the same time. They have cute turquoise coffee cups and offer complementary sparkling water. The service is FANTASTIC! All the staff have been incredibly helpful and accommodating when I have been there. This is, in my eyes, absolutely top priority when it comes to rating dining experiences.
Mojo seems to tick all the boxes. It is a must see in Newmarket.
