This place does coffee and that is all. It looks like a small little hut and when you hunt it down you think«seriously???». Do not fear. Us Unilocalers have not taken you to the wrong place! Be warned there is no seating space — it is more for«take-away». However you can walk to newmarket — Davis street and have your coffee in that small park which is quite nice.

Camper coffee is a fantastic teeny tiny coffee shop. Not much to look at from the outside, camper coffee is making some truly tasty coffee, definitely my number one coffee stop in Newmarket. Lee is a really friendly barista who remembers his regulars’ names and orders and loves to have a chat. With no tables or chairs it’s not a place to meet up with friends but rather a to-go coffee shop. If you’re passing by(just down from Best Ugly and Burger Burger) stop in and say hi to Lee and grab a cup of amazing coffee.

Camper is a hidden gem in the truest sense — a tiny little box of wonderment that you could blink and miss. This literal ‘hole in the wall’ coffee joint is staffed by a single barista and has a simple yet refined menu. By keeping things stripped down, Camper is able to focus on what’s is most important — ridiculously good coffee! I imagine the camping motif is referencing the back to basics approach taken by those who run the place. They’ve left behind all the unessecary accoutrements that many coffee shops offer and are truly focusing on perfecting the art of a good cuppa’. By focusing on quality roasts, perfect pours and skilfully foamed milk Camper Coffee has succeeded in providing the best coffee in Newmarket.

Tucked away in a little cove in Newmarket, my fine brew from Camper Coffee did not disappoint. They’ve gone for simplicity — three items to choose from, all served in a single size: Black($ 3.80) White($ 4.20) Filter($ 4.50) Despite the«back to the basics» feel, they haven’t cut any corners in terms of quality. My flat white was perfect — smooth, rich with that«just right» roasted taste. If you’re the filtered coffee type, they have an array of options for you too(including Chemex). They have a couple seats outside but really it’s more of a grab and go spot as the«cove» mentioned is truly that… tiny. PS — Rocket coffee is served here, a roastery based in Hamilton.
