Great place in Piha to stop in for coffee and some delicious food. They have dairy free chocolate milk and gluten free food and pasty options. Everyone here is very nice and willing to explain anything on the menu as well. My only gripe is their hours(maybe just during the week?)… We tried to stop in for dinner and they were closed at 7pm on a weekday. Overall, excellent food, tasty coffee and friendly staff!

You know those times you decide to head out to the beach at the last minute, and you’ve got absolutely no food in your cupboard besides your emergency rice risotto, and you don’t want to stop at the super market but you know you will get a huge craving for food after a couple hours swimming and lying in the sun? Not to worry, there’s always the Piha Store. Grab a pie or a panini, some hot chips and a coffee, and you’re on your way. Or, a nice ice cream and can of Coke to cool you down after baking in the sun for a couple hours(make sure you put on that sun screen!). The place gets pretty busy so the staff don’t really have time for chit chat, so get in, get out and get on your way!

A great cup of coffee and delicious deli food including scrummy home-made pies and pastries is on offer at Piha Store so not to worry if, like me, you forgot to pack a picnic when you headed out to Piha for the day. The ham and cheese Panini was delicious, washed down with a tall flat white Allpress coffee. Maybe on the trip back we’ll stop in again for an ice-cream. There’s a wall of fridges and freezers filled with great stuff and I really love their freshly baked breads and bagels.
