Well… What can my review for Paasha be after my last visit??? Yum!!! And holy shit!!! We went for lunch on Tuesday and the place wasn’t packed, just a few quiet diners enjoying their meals. My lady ordered the Combination Shish, and I got the Combination Iskender… Pretty sure I spelt it wrong in my earlier pic too… I think I was checking out the A rating at the time. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking with it!!! The lunch sizes were massive!!! Didn’t look huge at the time, but(and here’s where the holy shitness comes in) we were so full afterwards!!! Definitely shouldn’t have ordered the bowl of fries to mop up the yum!!! If you ever want to feel what it’s like to be pregnant order the lunch meal!!! Good service, nice ambience. And watching a couple of down on their luck people poach ciggies off the footpath outside and then coming in and politely asking to fill a water bottle was pretty good light entertainment. The guy serving obliged without a fuss… Nice one dude!!! I still feel full a day later, so if you plan on hitting town for a drink afterwards, or a bit of after date shenanigans ask for a doggie bag!!! Recommend for sure!!!

Great food, great variety and friendly service. The Pizza’s are great for a quick meal. Very hard to choose what we wanted so are slowly working though the menu.

It’s been about a year since I last ate in at Paasha. Today I popped in with friends dos lunch. I ordered two meals. Chicken Moussaka and their $ 10 dollar medium sized pizza which is a lunch special. Loved the moussaka. Only thing about the moussaka was that it wasn’t evenly heated through. For me this was a bonus! I can’t stand eating a tasty meal that’s too hot to gobble up. And that’s what I did with this moussaka. Gobble, gobble, gobble! Loved the pizza too. Cooked to perfection in Paasha’s wood fired pizza oven. The dough was light and there wasn’t an over abundance of toppings that made it soggy. I was going to economise on space as I was eating two meals but the base was just divine. I HAD to eat the base! Wow. I love the décor of this place. The coloured lamp light shades, the Nargile ornaments and the colour scheme. A thoroughly pleasurable experience.

I would have to say Paasha is not a café its a restaurant. The service is fine and the food is out of this world. The platters and mains are just mind blowing. I would have to say Paasha is the best Restaurant in Pukekohe for quality, taste, and day core. It has to be also the best Turkish restaurant in New Zealand. If you get to meet the owner Mustafa Gundogdu, please ask him to make you coffee. Its just tops your experience off. Thanks Paasha Pukekohe…

We had booked ahead, as Paasha can get quite busy on a Saturday night. There were 8 adult diners and one baby on this visit, for most of the diners it was their first time here. The biggest problem we had all night was in selecting which of the dishes to go for. Everybody commented on how they enjoyed the authentic Entrée’s and Mains. One diner even managed to squeeze a dessert in too, the rest of us were too full. The staff kept the youngest diner happy in the highchair with his own servings too. Looking forward to the next visit.

My partner would call this the best Turkish food in not only Puke, but in all of Auckland. And I guess I would agree — he has taken me once, I don’t really eat kebabs so I can’t compare it to others but it was really good. The main thing that he says sets Paasha apart is the quality of their food, which is a level above that of CBD kebab places. Like most Turkish cuisine places, they sell kebabs, wraps and rice type meals. They recently expanded the seating so now there’s a separate dining and takeaway area. The staff are friendly and the owner is always there and makes a special effort to talk to you, which is nice.
