Town Mouse

Never has a café caught my attention like this one. The décor is of a clean and funky style good is homely and healthy. BLUBERRY AND QUINOA SLICE GREAT FOR BREAKY.
I love the planning and attention to detail that has gone into this place. Open early so I can call in before work.
A great place to meet for lunch per dinner with friends

While the service is friendly it’s some what on the shaky side .
The coffee is good and the food also good .
So although the service could improve ten fold the food is satisfactory.
Sounds a bit like a report card for a wayward child, but I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again when this place gives me a mind blowing experience I’ll let you know.

My two little dears, though my wife and I love them to bits, can diminish the enjoyment of a lazy weekend morning brunch. Having handed them over to their nana the night previously, my dear wife and I decided we would use the very rare freedom from our cherubs to try the breakfast options at Town Mouse.
We arrived at 9am. It was moderately busy, but tables were still available and were seated promptly. There is a small play area where young children can play, which was nice… but we had offloaded our young’uns so no worries there. It was something that we made a mental note of anyway.
We ordered the big breakfast and eggs benedict. Both were very good as was the mocachino and caramel slice that we also had. The eggs on both breakfasts were poached to perfection. The sausages and bacon were super lecker.
I like it, a lot. I’ll be going back… a lot. There were other items that I’d love to try on the menu… and will try soon. In the company of my children next time… it will be very interesting as they both have an allergy to dairy while my son is also allergic to eggs and nuts.
The place has a relaxed ambience about it. It doesn’t pretend to be something that it is not, the staff go about their work diligently without intruding upon or interrupting your morning unnecessarily. They are friendly and warm without being pretentious and glib.
We have a new favourite café. Keep up the good work Town Mouse. It was a pleasure to visit and even better to dine on your sumptuous fare.

A very nice and warm introduction to Pukekohe!
Having only arrived the night before, I was still a but fuzzy, given that my body still thought it was 5am!
A fresh, clean and bright interior combined with helpful friendly staff and before long, I was eating a healthy toasted muesli and yoghurt treat.
My bacon gland was crying out for sustenance, but the yoghurt had me.
And finally, I didn’t have to go through my usual: «A long black, but with an extra shot. And don’t fill it all the way up… Just three quarters. Oh, forget it. Just make it a long black» routine.
They serve you the espresso in a cup and give you a small jug of hot water to mix it just the way you like! Heaven!
Will hopefully be back in the Long White Cloud before too long to stop by for another one.

I think I have a new favourite café in Pukekohe.
We tried fancied trying their Brunch dishes, I had Kedgeree and my wife had the Mince On Ciabatta Bread. Both commented on how nice and tasty the flavours were. I also had a refreshing Apple Zinger juice.
I really enjoyed the clean, fresh look of the café, there was a nice area outside at the back for families to enjoy too, with a couple of deckchairs to sit back in the sun whilst enjoying a coffee or other such refreshment.
