Situated right where Queen Street meets the bridge over the Mahurangi River, Tandoori Bite is more than just an Indian restaurant — it is an easy place to eat a meal. This is a no mess no fuss, kind of place, with food for everyone’s taste.
Apart from the usual favourites, such as butter chicken and lamb curries, you will get your western staples in the form of hamburgers and pizzas too. Tandoori is not going to win any culinary awards anytime soon, but they will get the satisfaction of the kids, and even mom, considering the deliver to homes in the area.
I liked my food, and Tandoori Bites biggest selling point, is its value for money.
