Fully freshly made products made in the back! Good assortment of breads, sandwiches, hot pies. Friendly staff, VERY reasonable prices, and customer service for accommodating requests!

Roberts Bakery is a good, old fashioned bakery. Neither the food nor pricing have changed much in the last 15 years. The fare is simple and tasty. Their chicken and salad roll is just that; chicken and salad (with scrummy homemade mayo included). There are no surprises, its good honest food. The apple turnover is a winner (not too much gelatine), as too the cream and jam doughnut. What I like best is the price; it’s still around $ 3 for a filled roll! That’s nearly unheard of these days. You could easily grab lunch for under $ 5 and then head down to enjoy it at the Mahurangi River (just watch out for the ducks).
