Nice tempura and sake selection. As far as the sushi goes, the fish is really fresh. I’d recommend the nigiri over the rolls though — showcasing the delicate fish as the spider roll we got was mashed together and just so-so. The best thing is its BYO — nice for minimising what may otherwise be a bill that’s a little pricey(but hey, it’s sushi — you get what you pay for). The atmosphere is loud as I think the byo makes it a popular birthday gathering place for students so it’s maybe not the best place for an intimate weekend date where conversation is the goal. Food good, booze good, service good, atmosphere good.

Good skewers. Nice veggie tempura. The ramen was good also but you probably normally wouldn’t notice it on the menu because it is at the very bottom of the noodles section. Needs a better menu layout. Nice restaurant atmosphere. Good sake selection.

Really fresh sushi, a bit pricy on rolls but the portion size makes up for it. There skewers are really good for appetizers along with there dumplings. They have a good sake selection and there vegetable tempura is legit and not all combined into one blob like some of the other places in Welly! It’s usually pretty quite during the week but seems busier on the weekends. Don’t let the price scare ya away its well worth it!
