We ended up here after Konigsdag and it was a really good place for a decent meal, they have a great reputation for their ribs but I had the chicken schnitzel. The portion sizes were great and the price was great and the staff were helpful, the beer is cold and you can be sure to have a great time.

Molly’s is a lovely Irish pub right in the centre, just a few mins walk from Centraal. Prices are decent and the food is quite tasty — particular the chips. I had fish and chips and my friend had the Irish burger. The fish was average inside, but the coating was crisp and delicious. The chips again, we’re fantastic. It was served with a nice enough salad. The burger was large, again with great chips and served with salad and beans. Sitting outside in the sun is fantastic, it’s right alongside a nice canal with a beautiful church on the other side. The service is outstanding. Good experience!

This pub is not only a normal pub, it’s a great place to have some extra fun with pub quizzes and other activities like a bingo. In the heart of the city, almost hidden between the canals(or lake, well I still say it’s a canal) you can go there and guarantee a nice time. Ow and I almost forgot, they have the best burger in town I have tasted so far(when I try others I might review this opinion, but for now this is the one). The pub quiz is held twice a month and for the bingo so far there was one and the crew promised there would be more. Even though it is located in a very touristic area you still experience the local touch, also proper Irish touch I must add. During the pub quiz the atmosphere is ultra fun, the groups are made of a minimum of 5 persons and if I remember it correctly it costs 2,50 per person to join. The money will then be split for the first, second and third place at the end of the game. Other than the pub quiz of course you can come and enjoy your Guinness or cider with your friends. I have to confess that I am becoming quite a regular, just have to remember to check in more often.

I’ve eaten here quite a few times over the last few months. I had been warned about the Fish and Chips but three of us ordered it and we really enjoyed it.(One of those friends ordered it again on a subsequent visit and was again happy.) The Irish Stew was great and even though there was just a bit too much rosemary in it, I’d order it again. The hamburger wasn’t at all bad and the portions are incredibly generous. I’ll ask them to hold the beans next time as it was just too much. The only disappointment I’ve had were the meatballs. Big but tasteless. I’d rather have half the size and more flavour. But luckily there are enough other options on the menu. The service is both friendly and professional. It is a large step above the«service» level we have had to accept in a country were the word doesn’t seem to have a meaning. The Guinness, Irish ales and Irish ciders are all up to standard and even a bit cheaper than many other Irish bars in Amsterdam. Don’t expect haute cuisine or even gasto-pub and you won’t be disappointed.

Extremely fun and laid back Irish Pub, but not touristy. It’s got decent food, very friendly staff, and great for singles, couples and parties. We always enjoy visits, and the pub quiz is one of the best English quiz places in Amsterdam.

I missed UK food and Irish people and this was the main reason why i went there. Food??? Bad cooked, i cannot remember my self last time i was eating sommering and i could taste the the fried bad quality oil. Environment is nice and i higly recommend it if you want to go for a couple of drinks(dont stay for more then 2 hours there). Although I love animals, having 2 dogs and a cat around the bar, going in to the kicken, coming under our table was a bit toooo much.

Molly Malones Irish Pub is my «favorite pub» in Amsterdam. I started coming here last year and literally fell in love with the place. The people here are so wonderful and friendly. You will find a lot of locals hanging out here on any given night. This pub has brought some of the best locals and Irish people within an Irish pub environment. It’s as good as it gets in Amsterdam. I brought my Dutchman here and he said the same thing. He was so amazed by the crowd of people and the authenticity of the pub. What I love about this pub? It’s always packed with a large group of Irish folks who are singing their hearts out to good olé Irish tunes. It’s the perfect place to have a good time with family, friends or colleagues. When it comes to good food, drinks, live music and sports, «Molly Malones Irish Pub» is the place to be.

Touristy, but with good drink specials and a fun expat crowd. Close to Centraal and very easy to bike to. Decent place for the area– I didn’t have food but what I saw didn’t look too bad. Very nice servers as well!

Many come in here for the ribs. A friend of mine at the table ordered them and complained that they were chewy and«not that great». I had the fish and chips. They were good. Plenty of other places to go to before I go out of my way to come back.
