This place feels like fast food Italian with little to no effort put into the menu. One finds it very hard to get past the sticky dinning room. Very poorly cleaned tables. We had to change table due to a large, dried, clearly long forgotten sauce stain encrusted on our tablecloth, only to be moved to an equally sticky table across the room. If the dining room has such low standards, I shudder to think what the kitchen looks like.

Very good pasta dishes! Good portion and not so expensive! For additional 13kr, you can get a large portion. Good and warm atmosphere, with nice people. Lots of pictures of famous people. Even the prince of Norway has been here!

Oh thank heavens for Pasta Sentral! We found this place on Unilocal and were so happy we did. It was the first decent food we had in over a week of being in Norway. It was the first thing that resembled and tasted like what we would get in an American restaurant. After a week of boiled potatoes and bland baked fish we were THRILLED! The lasagne was awesome (even by US standards). The pizza was great, but maybe because we were starving, but still was pretty damn good. And did I mention the prices? This was the BEST priced restaurant we found in 2 weeks in Norway. Four of us ate dinner for $ 100 total… with huge portions and food leftover. That’s incredible price for Norway. And the interior of the place is cute Italian style restaurant, not fancy by any means but it’s cute. Directions were a little confusing based on the street address and mapping on phone. Straight up the hill from the fish market. Go there. You will be SOOOOOO happy you did!
