The museum is small but interesting if you are looking for WWII history since it covers the local concentration camp KZ Ebensee that was a sub-​camp for the better known Mauthausen camp near Linz. While visiting the museum you should inquire about the Tunnels and the memorial tunnel tour as well as visiting the actual camp site.
Staff was not helpful when I was there in directing me to the actual concentration camp site and it took a lot of driving around and google searches to find it. I have since added it to Unilocal with its location.
