Bizzo

This place was a real find while I was visiting Vienna. Delicious homemade, organic food with friendly service. Went back three days in a row while because the food was just that good. Meat and vegan options available and daily specials were great. Had a parmesan crusted chicken breast over salad that was out of this world. My husband was in love with the lasagna bolognese. Tartine options for veggie (with mozzarella) and vegan (potato). The only disappointment was that we were in the mood for dessert one night and they were all out. Nice outdoor seating options and chill and casual interior décor. The manager and servers were patient with us even when we had an issue settling a bill.

I was there
yesterday night and it was not a good experience like it as in October when I
was there first time. I felt defrauded and I don’t plan to come back. -
Found it too expensive for what they serve and
how they serve. I paid 9,9 EUR for one minced lamb, tomato and (not expected)
potatoes Pasta. It was not particularly tasty and the presentation was poor though
the quantity was ok. Salad was not included (although I asked before and it was
told me wrongly yes), so I ordered a small (really small) side dish salad and
paid 2,9EUR (makes 12,80EUR). -
It
was not fresh cooked. The pasta sauces are kept for long time in those university
cafetaria style food heaters although the price charged is not cafeteria like.

The
prices of the dishes were not available in written anywhere. One had to ask the
busy employee to get that information. That was my mistake, because I never
imagine that the prices have raised so much since October. -
For
the beers me and my friend were charged more about 0,40EUR than the price informed on wall (ok I
could have asked why but when I got the bill I was astonished and I could not react) —
There
is not 3G inside the place and wireless is codified. Instead of giving us a small
sheet of paper with (and easy short) pin, after a while someone came and told us
those weird numbers and letters combinations orally. Of course did not work and
we did not want to bored more about that. The ambience
and decoration are nice.

Im Bizzo kann man seit Kurzem sonntags von 11 bis 20 Uhr Brunchen, das mussten meine Freundinnen und ich natürlich austesten. Wir waren zum Glück sehr früh dort und hatten somit keine Platzprobleme, aber es wurde dann doch nach und nach immer voller.
Obwohl wir uns ein typisches Brunch-​Buffet erwartet hatten, waren wir nicht von dem «à la carte» Angebot enttäuscht. Zur Auswahl gab es verschiedene Frühstücksvarianten, warme Gerichte wie Pasta und ‘Specials’. Die Preise empfanden wir alle als angenehm.
Ich habe mich für ein ganz kleines Frühstück (Vollkornsemmel und Butter, die sehr kreativ im Glas serviert wird) und Ham&Eggs entschieden, sowie einen Birnensaft aus der Region (kann mich leider nicht erinnern woher genau, aber auf jeden Fall Bio). Es hat mir sehr gut gemundet, vor allem der angebratene Schinkenspeck :)
Meine Freundinnen haben sich als «Dessert» dann noch eine Portion Kaiserschmarren mit Birnenröster geteilt, welcher auch «sehr lecker» war.
Besonders toll fand ich die Einrichtung des Lokals und das Anrichten der Speisen.
Abgerundet hat den Besuch dann noch die freundliche Bedienung, daher vergebe ich 5 Sterne!

Passend zum 7. Bezrik hat im April diesen Jahres ein weiteres hippes Lokal mit Imbiss eröffnet. Vor dem Bizzo gibt es ein paar Sitzmöglichkeiten um das schöné Wetter zu genießen, Innen trifft man auf einen hellen großen Raum mit viel Holz und Retro Möbel. Durch und durch ein gemütliches Ambiente, auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Essen jedoch hat mich noch nicht zu 100 Prozent überzeugt! Meine Portion (mehr Salat als Kartoffelauflauf) war sehr klein, kostete aber genauso viel wie jedes andere Hauptgericht das wesentlich größer war, geschmeckt hat es trotzdem. Meine Begleitung hatte Nudeln mit Lammragout, die waren leider wirklich fast gänzlich ohne Geschmack und viel zu mild-​hoffentlich ein einmaliges Versehen.
Es gibt täglich wechselnde Mittagsmenüs, einige Nudelgerichte mit verschiedenen Saucen und auch Snacks werden angeboten! Das alles Bio ist macht das Konzept vom Bizzo noch sympathischer. 4 Sterne für das Gesamtpaket-​das Essen wird noch einmal getestet!

Edgy Bio-​Bistro mit stark italienischem Einschlag. Sehr charmante Vintage-​Einrichtung. Gute Musik. Leckere Bierauswahl. Betreiber scheint wirklich sehr bemüht. Beim nächsten Mal esse ich auch was. Sehr empfehlenswert jedenfalls für alle, die mit der entsprechendes Hippness, die solchen Milieus nun einmal anhaftet, klarkommen.
