Caffè Intermezzo

This was a great little café until the new owner took it over and basically ruined it. There used to be nice music playing at a decent level, and now there is just a kitchen radio, there used to be a «coffee card» where every tenth coffee was free and that’s gone. As is typical in Vienna. New owners change things that don’t need to be changed and chase people away.
So the café is open again, but there is a BIG ORANGE grotesque sign on the door, and apparently he has done some sort of re-​set. Everyting looks the same inside but now he is advertising a buffet.
It is my opinion that this owner has very little business sense and really doesn’t know how to keep a café full of people. I don’t believe he has the friendly personality needed to keep people loyal and he doesn’t know about low prices equal more customers (as is the case in most of Austria).
The answers are in front of his face, but it seems like he likes to do the opposite.

Nettes kleines Café für ein schnelles Treffen. Café Latte schmeckt gut. Nun gibt’s auch Chai Latte (leider war dieser nur bestenfalls lau, aber ok kann ja mal passieren). Draußen wär es echt nett zu sitzen, aber die unbequemen Sessel und Tische verleiden es etwas. Tische (wie leider oft) viel zu nieder…
Café ist durchaus zu empfehlen.

hier ist gut frühstücken!
Erstens schmeckt der Café köstlich, zweitens sind die Eierspeisen gut (auch wenn sie hier merkwürdigerweise Rühreier heißen, was ich so nur aus Deutschland kenne) und drittens ist die junge Dame, die all das bringt, freundlich und nett.
Dass ich danach noch eine Karte für einen Gratiscafé fürs nächste Frühstück bekam, war nicht ausschlaggebend dafür, wieder herzukommen.
