Freiraum Deli

Such a cute place! Friendly staff, great vegan food if you’re looking for a quick bite to eat. They had a variety of baked goods, pizza, salad, and wraps. I’d recommend this place if you’re on the run and looking for something fast and easy.

Enjoyed a chocolate covered banana with hazelnuts on a hot summer day at the Freiraum Deli. They have a good selection of handmade popsicles!

A small vegan shop that’s great for those on the go. I would recommend the protein balls, Popsicles or the daily salad. They also offer homemade sauces, pestos and flavored waters.

Great food and atmosphere, nice staff. The homemade almond milk is a must. I had the chai latte and the Pita with tofu and antipasti and it was truly awesome. A bit expensive but totally worth the money. A lovely place to have a date or just to rest after shopping :-)

It is a cute little sidekick to its mama bear restaurant Freiraum just a few steps away. The selection covers the essentials for every worker on a lunch break: coffee, exotic sandwiches, scrumptious desserts and healthy juices. In the summer they have unusual homemade ice creams like strawberry basil. Amazing! In the winter, the ice cream is replaced with Christmas cookies. They also have homemade pestos to take home.
The only draw back are the prices. A € 7 sandwich is a bit stiff. Desserts also range in that area.
Huge plus: unlike the mothership Freiraum this place is entirely non-​smoking!

The smoothies could do better (creamier and not so much ice in there) and they could offer lots of different plant-​based milks and not only soy milk. But it is ok (³⁄₅)

Also das Deli ist grad mal 1 Geschäft weit vom Freiraum. Und es ist in dunkel und schick eingerichtet. Und das Motto ist 100% bio und 0% bullshit.
Ich muss gestehen das ich mir die Produkte drinnen nicht angesehen hab, da ich so vom Eis geblendet war.
Ich hatte ein Limette-​Kokos-​Eis, was seeeeeehr erfrischend war. Nur ist der Preis von über 3 € dann doch etwas viel…

The Freiraum Deli belongs to its neighbor, Freiraum. It is a place with a cool concept and fresh ideas including vegan popsicles, infused waters, chia seed treats and quiche. Clean eating is a theme here. The first thing that catches your eye from the street are the popsicles! The popsicles are homemade and include innovative combinations like strawberry basil and coconut lime. All ingredients are fresh and they take most food allergies and sensitivites into consideration. I tried the coconut lime and it was perfect for the hottest day of the year so far. Not sure what they will come up with for the cooler months here in Vienna, but you can also find coffee, homemade quiche and pastries there. A selection of spreads and canned sauces are also on hand and the staff is full of energetic and helpful explanations for everything! Don’t plan on eating in since there is hardly any place to sit, but this deli is great for «to go» items. Their signage claims 100% taste and 0% BS, but a popsicle for 3,20 is a little bit BS in my eyes, but hopefully it was made with love:)
