Hotel Kaiserin Elisabeth

Perfect location for walking around central Vienna. Near the Opera, the U-​Bahn station, high-​end shops, and several Mozart tchotshke shops where you will find a Mozart bobble-​head to fit all budgets. Not to mention many gorgeous pastry shops, including Demel’s and the café at the Hotel Sacher if you want to experience Torte-​reform.
Breakfast was included and was buffeted in a comfortable dining room off the main sitting room. The Front desk staff was exceptional, so a big shout-​out to Christian, who was unfailingly polite, even when answering questions that had just been answered. His advice on where to go and what to see and how to get there were always correct and reliable.
The rooms are well appointed and not done in the hard-​edged, sharp-​cornered, minimalist stainless-​steel style now so prevalent. That is to say, you will not draw blood if you should brush up against the furniture.
So glad we stayed there and will again on our next visit to Vienna.

Wir sind regelmässig in Wien und wohnen jeweils im Kaiserin Elisabeth. Der Urlaub beginnt am Flughafen wo Herr Franz auf einem wartet. Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer kuk eingerichtet was passt. Das Frühstück ist grossartig. Schade kann man im Haus nicht Abendessen

Das Hotel Kaiserin Elisabeth setzt vor allem beim Service Maßstäbe. Selten habe ich solch unaufgezwungene, natürliche, freundliche und zuvorkommende Hotelangestellte gesehen. Die Zimmer sind im kuk-​Stil eingerichtet, was zum Namen und Konzept des Hotels paßt. Vor allem die Empfangshalle ist sehenswert. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gelungen, die Lage des Objekts nahe des Steffl und der Kärntner Str. für Touristen optimal. Der Geschäftsreisende schätzt das kostenlose LAN im Haus, vermißt aber (zumindest war es in meinem Zimmer so) einen Schreibtisch. Auch fand ich die Räumlichkeiten etwas überheizt. Trotzdem vergbe ich persönlich gerne ** (mit leichten Abstrichen für Geschäftsreisende).
