Einfache aber gute Zimmerausstattung.
Unaufdringlicher Service.

Great location near the center, but far enough away to escape the bustle of the city.
Simple room and shower.
Some of the rooms had an Internet connection. By chance ours did!
Great breakfast buffet included in the room fee.
Friendly staff and clean lobby.

nettes kleines Hotel in der Nähe der Fußgängerzone (1. Bezirk). Absolut ausreichend für Kurzurlaube.

This place was recommended to me by a colleague when I went to Vienna and he was right on target with what I wanted:
Cost-​the price per night fit into my office’s per diem requirements, so I didn’t have to pay a dime extra.
Location-​the location is INCREDIBLE, really close to the cathedral, and many historic sites, and the street it is on is picturesque and charming. It is basically in the center of everything, yet off to a side street where there aren’t hoards of people. For this location I would have expected the price to be a lot more but it wasn’t. Awesome.
Simple– I don’t need a fancy hotel. What I want is just a basic place to sleep without a lot of frills, as I’m not really planning on spending tons of time in the hotel anyway. My room was very simple and basic, a bed, a lamp, a desk, a small bathroom. The bed was hard, which is what I like cuz soft gives me backaches — SO comfortable and I slept like a baby. It was very clean and very simple and thats what I like.
Yet, beautiful– I really liked the lobby area and the «grand» staircase that weaves around the elevator shaft. It had a nice old feel and I found it very pretty. There is a cute little restaurant there with a delicious complimentary breakfast.
All in all, I loved this hotel and will definitely be staying there again next time I am in Vienna. For the location, cost and its simplicity it can’t be beat! I was very pleased.
