This was one of the least expensive places to get a croissant in Vienna. I paid 75 cents for a croissant, which was unfortunately not good — dry and stale — must be old. Service was friendly, though, and location is convenient. On a cold day, you can sit in the mall.

A new kid on the block in terms of markets open on Sunday, and so far I’m loving it! Decent selection of all the necessities. I’ve always had fresh bread there too which is nice. Only taking a star off because the layout is set up to be pretty windy and smooshed, which can be downright chaotic on a Sunday or Fri/Sat night.

Open 7 days a week from 6am till 11pm this is often the only supermarket open when you find yourself short on a Sunday or later at night. Has a decent but basic selection of essentials. Always fresh bread and plenty of milk, cheese, sliced meat etc for emergencies. 5 stars because it has saved the day more than once and was open even on Easter Sunday. Use only in emergency!
