What can I say… food is just fantastic, prices very reasonable and the stuff including the owner. if I could I would give them 6 stars!

I’ve been in this charming restaurant thanks to the Unilocal community and I’m glad they recommended it. As said previously, if you don’t look for it it’s quite likely that you would just pass by without noticing. But, I can tell you once you get in there you will remember it :) (Just next to the park Błonia it would be a a perfect ending to an afternoon there)
I (as a French person) expected the traditional dishes that you can find in every single restaurant in France since they advertise themselves as a French restaurant. It turned out that it was not the case and this is for the best. I was pleasantly surprised by the originality of the plates and more exactly the combinations. I had salmon with black lentils and ratatouille! I would have never imagined salmon with something else than pasta/​cream or gratin dauphinois and ratatouille with rice. Ratatouille and salmon fit perfectly together (I personally would have maybe added a bit more of herbs de provence in the ratatouille though). The lentils were perfectly cooked, not mushy and just solid enough so there are a bit crunchy but not too hard.
I will definitely go back to try the dessert menu that looks amazing (I had the chance to test the crème brûlée! delicious) I can’t wait to taste the chocolate soufflé!!

Alpino. hidden French Restaurant in Wola… It is very cosy place with so helpful staff and attentive… When I arrived the Lady explained me about the drinks and recommended me many options for food and drinks. They are really going extra mile and even prices are mentioned. After warm welcome I felt like I want to order something and get more… Time of dish preparation was smooth… service too… i like the way meals were presented on the plate and overall table décor… It is something in between French cottage or country style from the Southern Europe… I ordered baked prawns with type of mussels –przegrzebki…scallops…from Placopecten family… and salmon for main… salmon not dry and really tasty. My starter was so good… i really like it… wine and espresso top it up… It would be great place in the summer… like being on holidays…
I felt also some kind of Scandinavian touch… too…

Went to Alpino on a Saturday afternoon. The waitress recommended their seafood menu. I chose the seafood platter and it didn’t disappoint. The presentation was first rate and everything was expertly cooked. Very positive experience overall. Not having to reserve a table in advance was a definite plus.

What an amazing discovery, hidden in a courtyard behind Krolowej Jadwigi. Alpino is a very cosy French restaurant of a surprisingly high standard.
The care and attention that went into the pâté with the accompanying homemade brioche were very evident, absolutely delicious, as was the wild boar casserole.
Service was very attentive from the owners for whom the restaurant is obviously a labour of love.
The quality of food and the reasonable prices guarantee that I will go back.
