This restaurant is located right off the main market square. Prices are a little on the high side and are comparable to somewhere like Destino. The food was pretty good. The starter I had was amazing, smoked mozarella filled with alpine bacon and rocket. The main course wasn’t quite so successful, I chose penne pasta with pancetta in a spicy sauce. It was tasty enough, but it was a creamy white sauce, which I don’t think works very well spicy. I wasn’t particularly hungry after having filled up with bread dipped in in balsamic vinegar and olive oil(plus the fantastic starter too). Service wasn’t quite as good as it could have been even though there were relatively few diners. Perhaps they were waiting for the rest of our party to arrive, but we had to ask for the menu. Then we had to ask for the wine menu. After that all was good and the food arrived fairly quickly too. The waitresses were very helpful generally. I decided to not to have a dessert as the prices were a little on the high side.

Aqua e Vino is an up-market Italian restaurant in the Old Town. It’s pricier than than most Italian places I’ve been to in Kraków. For instance, the soup of the day is listed at 18zł, while bruschetta costs 17zł. The food is decent enough, but I didn’t feel it was extraordinary. One thing that you’ll find at Aqua e Vino is a quiet, elegant dining environment. Unlike popular establishments like Mamma Mia, the waitresses here aren’t flying about constantly like headless chickens. That’s makes it a much more suitable setting for a romantic evening. The full bar here also means that you and your date won’t need to find another place should you decide upon drinks afterward.

We had a very good caprese salad followed by an excellent paperdelli with shrimp. The main was the«crispy lamb ribs» with a side of asparagus. The lamb was good, but not great and I couldn’t figure out why it was referred to as «crispy.» The asparagus appeared to be steamed and was hopelessly overdone and mushy. One of the ends had not been broken off and was therefore like wood and inedible. The tiramisu was excellent. Service was bit erratic but the two young ladies were very nice and helpful. The meal was served with bread, which was good. We appreciated the nice complimentary glass of lemon liquor. The food was good, and I would not hesitate to come back.

A very nice upscale Italian restaurant in the Old Town section of Krakow. The waitresses were very friendly and I was struck by how imacculately well presented they were. The restaurant was very well looked after and everything looked clean and very tidy. The food was exceptional. While we waited for our starters were given bread which we used the olive oil and balsamic vinegar with. To start we shared a portion of Bruschetta which was plenty for two people… For main we both had a pasta dish each with a side order of gnocchi and a side order of spinach with garlic which we shared. Also we had a 0.5l of Prosecco All this cost around 115 Zl or £24 Unbelievable value! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Italian food.
