I had opportunity to test the menu for Restaurant Week Polska. Soups were good, main dishes could be better and the desssert was delicious. If Barka is serving such a menu everyday it is worth visiting. Interior is very nice and this is a perfect place for summer parties.

OK how to define the review as Barka is 3 places in one, casual café, restaurant and fashionable club when there’s an event.
It’s a great place to chill on a sunny day with a beer or a coffee on the river and very popular at night when they have a DJ and a party event.
As a restaurant (casual dining) the menu could be more interesting and it suffers from inconsistency. It can be good but there is variation depending on which staff are in the kitchen and you can be disappointed. The safe bet is the «tapas» which is very good and a bottle of wine with friends.

I like Barka where I went for the second time with my friend just for a small drink and chat. It is Dutch boat located on the Wisla river banks, close to Kladka Bernatka. It is renovated, 125-​years old place with modern and stylish bar and tapas in the menu.
I could say that is great in the winter due to 160 –years –I guess– old fireplace. In the summer too where on the deck you can sunbathe using deckchairs.
It would be amazing to get a ride on such boat :) sipping your drink.

Hoy he acudido a una cena de compañeros de trabajo. Hablamos de una noche a finales de julio, casi agosto… en la cubierta del barco, al aire libre degustando una buena comida, vino y mojitos, ¡me ha gustado mucho! Me han enseñado la parte de dentro para los días lluviosos o de frío y una sala que tienen de reuniones y proyecciones. Tiene también muy buena pinta aunque no se qué tal será la acústica. Servicio bueno y precio medio– alto para Cracovia.
