–Stopped here every night when I was visiting Krakow to wind down –Nice low key atmosphere with some good corners to sit in –Awesome place to talk to locals and fellow travelers –When you get swarmed by some British exchange students and dragged upstairs for karaōke you can’t be disappointed!

A vibrant bar close to the main market square. It was busy but we managed to find somewhere to sit. Football was showing on the TV screens dotted around the bar. Service was quick and with a smile. There were lots of English people drinking in here, but an English football match was on so maybe that explains why

Daunted by my arrival in a country where I didn’t have any comprehension of the language and not yet ready to resort to speaking English slowly to everyone(hate the thought of being that stereotypical English tourist) I retreated here to plot my assault on the Polish language. A very kind waitress taught me how to say Zywiecand as it took me a few repetitions I had to have a few pints!(they did have Murphy’s but it was twice the price, so I would avoid it). Apart from the helpful, friendly and attractive barmaids, my extended stay was largely due to the football. This is the number 1 place to watch football in Krakowno questionas it has more channels than any other pubeven the pubs that are specifically marketed for watching sport(it has Setanta Ireland!). Because of this it can get quite busy! The pub is not underground like many bars in Krakow, but it has a similar brick cave cellar look to it. There is an upstairs and downstairs area with TVs. They serve food and there is a lot of choice I had a steak wrap to eat here and I thought that it was excellent.
