I tried this place for our regular work week lunch number of times already and I simply love their sweet and sour soup with crispy chicken. I usually take only half portion of chicken and it’s more than enough. BTW half portion of crispy chicken is only 9 zloty! I hear vietnamese chicken is also very good. Highly recommended.

I was shopping for some Asian grocery at the store next door and thought I would give this bar wietnamski a try. There’re many Vietnamese merchants at King’s Square and the nearby bazaar. Perhaps one could find a decent bowl of phở noodle soup here? I would say the phở at Gia Long is passable. Like all Vietnamese places in Poland, the noodle here is prepared in the Hanoi style. It’s much more spartan compared with the Saigon style phở commonly found in the West. No basil. No bean spouts. No onion. Just some chive and beef. Actually, as you can see in the pic, there’s no much of the latter either. The broth is decent, however. It doesn’t taste like it’s made from just bouillon cubes.
