A nice little coffee shop. The coffee is good and the music always good. It’s fairly small but has that cosy home feel about it. You do feel like you are listening in on other peoples conversations as sound travels very well. I’ve been here a few times in the evening and it’s a good place to meet friends for a chat

Absolutely loved this bar, ended up here two of the three nights I was in Kraków. It seemed to be very much a young persons bar, I would say most people were between 20 – 35 years. I don’t think it is an all-out gay bar, but, it is certainly very gay friendly. The décor was great and the whole bar had a great vibe. The staff were very friendly and, like everywhere in Kraków, spoke perfect English. They have a good selection of craft beers from Poland and most were less than € 3 each(10 — 12 zloty).

A cosy little bar right in the heart of Kazimierz. The décor seems to be styled on a school common room which has been furnished on a very low budget(or without a budget at all). As a results sometimes the chairs can be a bit uncomfortable. Besides that, it’s a great place for a quiet chat with friends or a date even. Cider is available, which is always a big plus from my point of view

Miejsce Bar is a great place for a Żywiec if you’re in Krakow and feel like a before-dinner drink in a mid-century modern atmosphere. The décor is great: vintage 50s style furniture and Polish poster art on the walls. The place is teeming with a young and hip(ster) crowd drinking the Polish national beverages: beer(bottled, not draughted) or tea. The staff is very friendly and speaks perfect English(a good thing given my broken Polish). They suggested a perfect dinner option: «zapiekanki»(a huge slice of baguette-like bread topped with mushrooms, melted cheese, spicy ketchup and any other additional topping you wish) bought at the kiosk on the neighboring square and eaten in the snow, a perfect Krakow experience!

I would say this is a BERLIN style café in middle of jewish district in Krakow. Someone recommended me to go here, and take this tea with honey and ginger. They didnt have ginger but they went to the market to get the fresh one and made this tea for me, It was nice to warm up here when it was cold outside! cozy place! one of the MUST go in krakow!

This is an extraordinary bar and café. Once you are there you do not want to leave anymore. The design is just fantastic, just as the homemade cake and sandwiches and the choice of drinks(TEAS!). Great place, great music, great people. This is something you should not miss.

Miejsce is an extraordinary café and bar right in the centre of the Jewish quarter Kazimierz. The unique design(50ies/60ies), the bright colours and the great light make it a place where you just feel good. It has wlan and is a perfect place for working a bit or doing some emailing while having an excellent coffee. You can choose between a variety of very good teas and also have awesome home-made vegetarian sandwiches and cakes(recommended!). A special highlight is the Yerba Mate, a pure energizer. Theres a variety of magazines and even books available. Once you are there you want to stay for hours: to meet friends, read, or work. During the day the music is not too loud and relaxing, in the evening it gets more bar-like. The choice of alcoholic drinks is better than usual and its worth to ask the barman or barwoman for a special mix. Its never the same and always tasty. The bar is refreshingly different from the rather dark Cracow style with candles and laces. Its frequented by young, tolerant, often artistic and alternative people. Whenever I am in Cracow, I am sitting there every day. It has a great atmosphere and spirit.
