I think I just found a new favourite restaurant. I’ve been meaning to try this place for ages now(seeing as I pass it several times a week). There is a nice place to sit outside on the terrace(although it can get busy and noisy at times). When I went there it was late afternoon and relatively quiet. I had Tuscan-style Capriocciosa pizza. It was truly, truly delicious. Thin base, cheese, bacon, olives and cherry tomatoes. Cooked to perfection it soon disappeared from my plate. Washed down with some freshly squeezed orange juice. Next time I’ll be drinking wine as it’s super cheap here(starting at only 6.9zloty for a 150ml glass). For dessert I tried Pizza Hut’s take on one of my favourites. Panna cotta. It was served in a very small oval glass with a layer of fruit coulis on top. The size wasn’t a problem(I’d ordered two because I knew how small they would be), but the panna(ie the cream), just tasted like cream, no vanilla flavouring that you would expect from a panna cotta. Also, it didn’t have much of a jelly-like consistency. So, strictly speaking, it shouldn’t have even been called a panna cotta! Next time, I’ll try a different type of dessert(if I have room). Service here was super and next time I will take advantage of the refillable soft drinks and perhaps the salad bar(which now offers fruit too). Great place :)
