Złoty Osioł, meaning the Golden Donkey, was a decent restaurant in the Old Town but there are better options(like Biesy or Czarcia Łapa). The mulled wine and the spring salad were good but the kielbasa smazona(Polish sausage) and Polish pancakes could have been better. The Polish sausage seemed overcooked and the Polish pancakes were just not good with all the cheese and cream. The atmosphere inside is fun though but it can be really hard to hear a friend just across the table from you if there is a noisy bunch of people at another table. There were lots of Polish people inside so I think we were just unlucky with what we ordered and maybe there are lots of other good items on the menu…
