It is so good. We have had six different tacos and all have been great. The pastor is amazing. My wife likes the tinga de res but I think it is too hot. The cocktail with passion fruit was also very good.

Boca, lábios, garganta, pingo no nariz, olhos vermelhos, you name it … nada tirava aquele ardor! Resumindo: Ficamos clientes, adoramos o serviço e a comida e garantidamente iremos lá voltar.

Our path brought us by this place after dinner late one evening, and we noticed it was bumping. We saw right away marked on their menu that the kitchen is open until midnight, so we went the next night for a late bite… arrived around 10pm. We had to wait less than fifteen miniutes to be seate on a picnic table with a couple on either side of us. At this point, we have margaritas already in hand(the classic was super yummy, and it wasn’t worth it to upgrade to their house special marg, IMO). Everything we had was delish — I’m not going to tell you what to order because nothing was standout amazing or terrible. The(gluten-free, incidentally) corn tortillas are made in house and the same variety of sauces come with each order of tacos. The fillings are good, but simple. They involve a small amount of protein and an even smaller amount of one type of topping. A vinegary slaw and for god’s sake a crema or sour cream would have dressed it up nicer. SPICYISNOT A JOKE. I don’t care how hot you can handle your food, the basic spice level is hot as all hell. You do not need the two pepper or three pepper level, and before you ask they do not carry sour cream, yogurt, crème fraîche, or crema in the restaurant. Very, very flavourful, but so spicy. What else? The service was delightful, but we had a new-ish waiter who we made friends with and the manager serving us… They only have one dessert on the menu and its nothing special, the icing was really bland an unnecessary, Save your calories for margaritas.

A solid place that has a great modern twist on tacos. Great for a group who wants to mix and match different tacos. Margaritas were delicious and can’t blast enough about the quality of the tacos. It’s a tiny quaint place but it was fantastic

Texans, this one’s for you! I tried this place on the recommendation of a Brazilian friend of a Belarusian friend. An ocean away from Mexico and getting secondhand ideas on where to eat Mexican food, I was following a very dim star. But it turned out the kitchen staff are Mexicans and the owner is from Juarez! Very good omens. My dining companions included a Belarusian girl, a Portuguese girl and guy, and a Brazilian guy. At one point I noticed I hadn’t heard anything from the Portuguese guy for a few minutes, so I glanced over and saw his face flushed and pouring bullets of sweat from the pepper! And some Brooklynites at the next table said it was hard for them to take. But to me, after 15 years eating tacos in Houston, the heat level of the food was perfect. They let you select three levels of pepper with your order and they give you three kinds of salsa on the table. The tacos al pastor I ordered were home-style, saucy, not dry taco-truck-style. Guess I’ll wait till I get back to North Main for that good old street flavor. Everyone I ate with loved the Tres Leches cake, the Pacifico cerveza, and the delicious Tequila. I loved the service and the humility of the owner, who came and had shots with us after we ate and told us his dreams for the next phase of the restaurant. They also continue the tradition of serving free house-made corn tortilla chips, pico de gallo, and water on the table, which was refreshing given that nothing comes free with the table in Lisbon’s typical restaurants. Oh, and the washrooms are cool! Look for the lighting under the sink… So overall I would say, try this place once and then try it again. Budget some time for the wait(we needed about 40 minutes to get seated). You’ll have a good evening and a good reminder of home.

Went to this place last night and I quite liked it. Not saying it’s authentic mexican, I wouldn’t know, but it was good. Good tacos, spicy sauces, and a good margarita(and a shot of tequila to end the meal, on the house). Very nice people. Go early-ish, the place is small and gets full really fast. I want to go back, try the rest of the tacos and the spiciest sauces!
