Cafeteria Sarkis is one of those places that takes you by surprise! I stopped at this deli/​cafeteria when I was looking for a quick bite to eat. There are small tables where you can eat in or take your food to go. They serve typical Spanish, Puerto Rican staples like rice and beans, but on this day the special was home made lasagna. It was delicious! For $ 7. I had a nice sized portion. I also tried their fried plantains and chicken soup another day. I also tried a flan for dessert that was delish!!! They serve breakfast and are open early. They usually close by 5 or 6p.m. If you are looking for tasty, home made food I recommend this place highly. Service was pleasant and the place was clean.
